Seomyeon 1 Beonga (Seomyeon first street) 서면1번가

It felt so good to be back in Seomyeon.
The rain had finally stopped and it felt so good to be enjoying the sunny weather outside after the storms had passed.

One thing I love about being in Seomyeon is that it is located right in the centre of Busan and the streets are bursting with colour and life all day long.

The streets are full of cafe's, bars and restaurants offering inexpensive food and drinks. Seomyeon attracts many young people and you can see both Korean and international tourists frequently on the street.

I spent the day walking the streets around Seomyeon enjoying the local culture and then headed to first Street.

First street is also know as Art street and there you can find endless stalls of street food.
Korean street food is part of the adventure when travelling in Korea you have to try it!

Fried snacks (튀감 - Twigim )
You can feast on meat dumplings , pajeon sweet potatoes and more.

Tteokbokki (떡볶이 - spicy rice cakes )
Rice cakes in a spicy red pepper paste.

Odeng (오뎅 - fish cakes )
Prices at about 500₩ per stick fish cakes are the cheapest street food you can buy. The fish cakes are skewered on sticks and left in a delicious broth which you will get free when u buy one .This is known to apparently cure any bad hangovers so just put on some soy sauce and enjoy!
