The underground system is very similar to that of the London underground.
They use a very simple colour and number system which made it so easy to get around. In my case much easier than Seoul.
The underground stations are very clean and some even classy with marble floors. Undergrounds sometimes have endless shops selling clothing, cosmetics and jewellery. The shops usually lead you right out to the street entrance so even if you don't take the subway be sure to go down and have a look I found some really great products.
The ticketing machines are very easy to use and you can select English on the touch screens to help you plan your journey and your ticket type. I chose a day ticket which is best if you plan to travel around a lot. Its the cheapest option and you can use it on all lines.
The Korean underground is pretty much like America its very spacious unlike the London tubes.
The underground is equipped with high speed WiFi and fully accessible. There are English speaking announcements over the tannoy if you cant read korean hangual so you can be sure not to miss your stop.
